So this beautiful car car belongs to a friend of mine named Franky. Now I met Franky through one of my bros about a month ago during the Tailored Seattle Meet. When I first saw this car, it was rocking some Mugen RNR’s and it didn’t have the carbon fiber hood. I still thought it was pretty clean but after seeing him with the car again about a week later, it was rocking OG Axis’s. I thought that these wheels definitely made the car look so much better.

You guys may have seen this car at different meets and formed your own opinion on it. I say that this is one of the cleanest DA’s I have ever seen. The stance is just right and it doesn’t hurt that this car can pull too. I’ve always been fond of DA’s and I’m happy to see this old school car amongst the S2000’s, RSX’s, or any new car nowadays.

Franky tells me that this is his 2nd car, his first being a DA as well with the same set up, but unfortunately it got stolen. I was telling him that I’ve heard that DA’s are really troublesome, like there’s always something wrong with them. But he tells me that he’s never had a problem with it except for a few cracked oil pans due to the car being low.

It’s lucky that he managed to find another one as clean as this. He told me that he bought it off this old man by just walking up to him and asking “Hey, want to sell you car?” I must say though, old people do tend to take car of their cars and Franky got lucky that this old man was willing to sell it. The carbon fiber hood goes really well with the stock factory red paint that Franky has on the car.

It’s been about a year and half since he’s had this car and he is doing well with it. He’s done a partial wire tuck, partial as in he’s finished the passenger side but hasn’t gotten to the drivers side due to it being difficult for him. He has his deck in his dash, which was really interesting to me for some reason. It was different. And as you can see, he’s gutted his car and installed the EMR racing bars.

Also, due to his MOMO detachable steering wheel, he took out the power steering along with a couple other fluid bottles, but he doesn’t seem to mind it. Some of the things he’s planning on doing is selling his OG Axis’s and getting some Sportmaxes because he’s going to have wider wheels. He’s planning on rolling his fenders and of course, go lower.

I’m excited to see the outcome of his hard work.
