I’ve always wanted to feature this car, it’s such a great example of what nw-built stands for. Just your average guy building his car in his own garage.
Steven Patch is the owner of this Stage 3 2001 Audi S4 Avant. He resides in Port Angeles, WA and is proudly serving in the US Coast Guard. Like I’ve said before, the Olympic Peninsula is one of those tucked away, isolated places. Isolated from all of the big shopping malls, clubs, and nice cars. But every once in awhile you’ll see a nicely done car come out from hiding in these parts of town. See, but that’s the thing though; this S4 Avant is nice looking and all, but you would surely underestimate it if you saw it on the street. This wagon is a total sleeper; just what Steve intended to do.
Let me start by saying the automotive scene in the Olympic Peninsula is pretty sparse, most cars seem to be hiding in a hibernation of sorts. Must be that WA weather, or maybe the fact that the area is riddled with Toyota pickups, SUV’s, and Lincoln continentals. Once in awhile you’ll see a head turner though, on your daily HWY 101 commute. This is definitely one of them.
