2013 Calender Submissions

We are going to start collecting pictures from you guys for our 2013 Calender. So, start taking pictures of your car. We want to see it all, Trucks, Muscle Cars, Stanced Cars, Race Cars, etc. We need as much participation as possilbe. If we don't get feedback we can't accomplish this.

A few basic things:

1. Make your picture submissions as high DPI/RES as your camera will take. It's much easier for us to make a picture smaller and crop what's unneeded than it is to make a small picture larger. If it's too large to post here without side scrolling, then post a thumb and link it to the bigger picture.

2.When you take your pics, take several from slightly different angles and maybe even several from one spot.

3. Each Member can only submit 3 pictures so choose wisely.

4. Keep your backgrounds distraction free. No trees or poles "growing" out of the roof of the car, no litter in the shot, tire tracks, grease stains, etc.

5.Use a tripod.

6. Play with the ISO and macro settings. Even the cheap point and shoot cameras these days offer these settings to make better pictures. Lower ISO for stationary objects will produce a photo with less noise and much better color quality.

7. You don't have to have the most modded car so don't be afraid to submit a picture.

8. The pictures must be your own. If you have someone take your pictures for you then you need written permission from the photographer. They can also email me letting me know that you have permission to use the picture.(james@nw-built.com)

9. We will take submissions until September, at which time we will go through them, and then put up a vote for you guys to let us know which ones you want to see.

Thank You,

so i'm gonna start a new photo album for this. so i have a good friend that is the shit in detailing/paint restoration! so we did some headlight restorations on a couple homes cars yesterday. did a pair of acura tl headlights, infinity g35 hl, and bmw 330i hl. all came out great! let me know if you guys need some of this work done. i think higher end body shops/ detail shops that are willing to do it the right way will charge around $100-$150+tax for this type of work. he charges around $50-$100 cash money. so the proper way to do this stuff is 1-wet sand with 1000-2000 grit depending on whats needed, 2- wool pad & a good compound & professional grade buffer, 3-foam pad & polishing compound, 4-hand wax or quick detail wax. the headlights will NOT start showing sanding marks down the road. this is why you need some professional grade products to achieve this level of quality. the ghetto headlight restore kit from walmart/ on tv commercials will not get you to this point... so guys let me know if this is something you need done, and again done the RIGHT way!
So I got myself a 1998 BMW 740IL. Love it. Should have read up more on problems and maintenance first butttt I love the style and just the car so much I don't care. Small upgrades on her when i bought her like dropped on some NEX coil overs, some spacers and HID kit.

We are inviting all European cars to show this year. IF you not European we invite you come hang , see the vendors and talk to sponsors and have a beer.
WaterWerks NW car show will be completely changing locations and the WaterWerks event this year. This year’s event will be located 1 mile off I-90 in North Bend, WA on 230 acres of lush green polo field grass.

A grass amphitheater that is dug approx. 20ft into the earth and the size of a football field will be the location of our main stage, judging and day long events.

Show parking will be on the polo fields and will be open to all European car manufactures. Non-judged show and shine will also be available as in years past.

Expect nothing but the best for food for 2012 as well. All food vendors will be required to be European style food only. Also on tap will a German beer garden with only German beer imported directly from the fatherland.

Heres my 4 years and counting MR2 project. It started as a clean example of an AW11. NA, 5 speed, decent mileage.

I gave it a paintjob and some wheels, drove it for a year and then tore into it again. I wanted to fix some body issues, and i had plans for a quick and dirty turbo build. Things snowballed, and here we are today.

Here are some of the bigger mods ive done:

Resealed 4age bluetop
365cc GZE injectors
audi k03 turbo from a vw 1.8t
custom DP/exhaust
hooker aerochamber muffler
walbro 255? fuel pump
trick flow fuel filter
modified fuel supply with -6an lines and fittings
oil filter relocate
MegasquirtIIv3
Ford EDIS ignition
(1/2 of LC1 wideband)

it has a modified aftermarket aw11 front bumper, kaminari sideskirts, and aftermarket rear all blended into also custom 20mm wide quarter panels in back.

honestly, most everything has been custom modified or fabricated. i shouldve tried to use more oem pieces to keep it simple, but everything was so old and dirty/broken.

heres a quick pic...ill be uploading more

I got it started and moving under its own power today.

Federal Way Costco @ 730am

Roll out NLT 8am

Show up fueled up. We will not wait for stragglers as I am posting the map. You can play catch up. The route is full of troopers so this will be a cruise, NOT A RACE. We will make a meet up spot on the east side of Monroe to meet with the Northerners if they wish to cruise in with us.

Well I got these wheels a few months ago, previous owner sprayed them dupli-color dark aqua, but either didn't prep them very well or something because the paint flakes pretty easy. I just recently got tires and adapters for them and got them mounted and balanced and finally got around to putting them on my car and loved the way they look but I just had my wisdom teeth removed by an oral surgeon and anyone that's had them removed knows you dont remember sh*t, they give you a prescription for free drugs, and leaves nice holes in your mouth but it also costs alot (about $2k) and I don't have insurance to cover it so I had to borrow the money from my mom so unfortunately I have to sell the wheels to pay her back for the surgery. The lips have a few dings but the tires and adapters have about 30 miles on them
