Thanks, havent had a chance to run at the track with my slicks yet, but the car makes 455/350 on 15lbs, 92 octane, on a dyno dynamics. Its daily driven like that too.

JESUS! I'm guessing on slicks, low 11's - high 10's @ 127-130mph. Boosted, lightweight Civics are no joke... Thumbup

EDIT: Just saw that you dyno'd on a dyno dynamics. You're definitely in the 10's with a trap speed of at LEAST 130mph. Eek

Whats slicks have to do with anything? If anything a sticky tire hides more errors. Also, makes things break more often if not known how to drive with them. Just my .02

Personally i feel the oppisite. I know more who buy slicks because thats what the fast guys have. Im sure this guy can drive and he seems to know his car pretty well so its a mute point.

But as a noob one of my first mods was drag radials. All that matters in the drag race is the first 60 ft. After that its cruise control for the most part. Row your gears home.

I can't remember what i ran last time i went. It was in 2005 when the car was a couple days old. After that it was just the street. I know i could put the bottle back in and drive it to high 11s low 12s pretty easy on a DR.

I always figured n00bs go with less sticky tires like I did. Personally, I'd rather practice launching on crappy tires so I don't break anything. I wouldn't consider you as a n00b either so I can understand why you went with slicks. You're a pretty dedicated car guy. A newbie wouldn't buy slicks if he just occasionally bang through gears once in a while. Neither would he drive a 450+whp lightweight car without knowing how to drive it. That's what I'm assuming though.

Get on the srt4 forums. Guys buy used SRT4s with 500+ hp and ask what kind of gas to use. Or how far can they turn up the boost. Some of the dumbest shit you have ever seen. And i was referring to when i first got the car. It was my first FWD. I knew they didn't hook so instead of learning to launch it i bought drag radials. 4 axels, a clutch and a transmission later i learned.
