i've done it to some of my electronics, i just don't know if peeps wanna pay for me to do that tho?... i don't like to cut against apple products also is the 2nd reason, the gaps are too small and the knife tends to slip really easily. it's sometimes nice to have the pre-cut templates so you can avoid any type of cutting on the unit.

thanks for the honesty. i will look into it

super glossy black vinyl air release for sale 5'x5' $30.00

sup so long story short i bought some chinese vinyl and it wasn't the color i wanted... so i have this 5'x100' roll of glossy black vinyl. it is very nice and glossy and even has a protective layer over it so when you install this it won't scratch up the actual finish of the vinyl. it has air release and looks pretty legit. i will have a hard time using all 100' of this in a timely manner so i am offering it for sale in increments or a full roll. i paid $550.0 for the roll so i'm not really tryin to make anything off of it, just tryin to re-coup some $$ from this deal. so for all you DIY guys this is for you! you can wrap roofs, interior trim parts, chrome trimmings, etc...

get @ me Mark Wu 2067076491
i will NOT ship this stuff, local pickup only.

whats the technique? I have di noc wood grain vinyl and was trying to do small interior pieces but was having a hard time contouring the vinyl around the curves without distorting or creating pinches/air bubbles in the wrap.

RE: Wu! Wraps work done by me! check it out! - Wu! Wraps - 01.09.2012 07.54 PM

KEVIN.E: just depends on the part, you need to sometimes come around the corner 1st b4 going to the flatter areas... also most air bubbles will be pressed out with di-noc since it has air release. pinches you need to avoid, and when all else fails or the corver is a 90 degree drop into a sharp 90 degree bend "like the corner of a box" then you must make a seam there. that's all i can tell you without seeing what your workin with. also just to let you know di-noc is a lot harder to work with than other vinyls since it is more pvc (plastic composite) than vinyl, causing it to be thicker/ less stretchy/ tends to want to shrink back to it's original state. also you should be using 3m primer 94 with all di-noc porducts.

GSX-R air ducts 3m 1080 anthracite carbon fiber Wu! Wraps.

sup did these today, air ducts had some pretty bad scratches on them, had to sand them down a bit with 180grit. laid lots of 3m primer 94 around the edges since you can't really wrap under/fold over the edge. overvall came out great! can't even tell there was damage to them. Wu! Wraps

mercedes w212 e63 AMG 3m 1080 cf interior trim Wu! Wraps

sup sup, did this one at CNC in bellevue today. 2010 mercedes w212 e63 amg interior trim done in 3m 1080 black carbon fiber. was pretty tricky to take the dash trim off the car & driver side air vent. door panel trim parts were wrapped on the car since it wasn't necessary to pull the door trim parts off to get a "good" wrap job done. i also wrapped the front "mercedes" silver door/ floor board trim part in 3m 1080 matte black since he got some illuminated AMG ones. lastly i blacked out the front bumper amber reflector/daytime running light with oracal 970ra gloss black (not pictured) for a cleaner look. overal came out EXCELLENT! think this maybe the 1st w212 interior trim wrapped thus far. owner is very happy with the results!
