RE: supersleeper - AndyE30 - 10.16.2011 12.01 AM Cool, you build it yourself? How much estimated hp (or if you dyno'ed that works too)? Oh, and welcome! RE: supersleeper - SkiPunk11 - 10.16.2011 02.39 AM nice...clean er up for some shows and it's sittin purty. Welcome to built RE: supersleeper - 05SRT - 10.16.2011 05.02 AM Welcome man. Love a good sleeper. RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 10.16.2011 04.57 PM estimated about 248 with the tuned ecu, so about 218-220 at the wheel maybe. 8 psi. She's on 18" Enkei's now with a white front lip. I'll post more pics or you'll see ugly betty at the next meet. RE: supersleeper - AFG-DSM2g - 10.16.2011 05.29 PM Im diggin this. Dope build, Welcome! RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.02.2011 11.16 AM ugh, put the FMIC in just because it was sitting in the garage collecting dust. couplers are my new enemy. going to get the pipes welded together in the near future. if anybody has an extra 90 degree IC pipe they don't need, I'll take it off your hands. let me know 253-237-4375 Devan. [attachment=357][attachment=358] RE: supersleeper - exigejoe - 11.02.2011 11.20 AM red top! Seen a few back in my Nissan days! Nice!! Welcome! Oh wait did they have red top in fwd config? RE: supersleeper - 05SRT - 11.02.2011 11.21 AM Paint that shit black. And that fitment with the bumper off looks horrible. That would drive me crazy. RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.02.2011 11.25 AM I cut the pipes to fit perfectly, that picture was a rough draft. i also trimmed the bumper. it was easier than i though it would be. the redtop was from a bluebird, they are AWD, i just used my transmission and it mated up perfectly. RE: supersleeper - exigejoe - 11.02.2011 11.34 AM Ok nice; i always wanted a GTi-R. Use to have a b15 ser spec v with vq35de RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.02.2011 11.39 AM I was looking for one, but i got impatient so i did the BB swap. it was a little cheaper too. As far as the paint goes, it'll be awhile before anything happens there. RE: supersleeper - 05SRT - 11.02.2011 01.08 PM If anything the paint and look of the car adds to the sleeper effect. And it looks great with the bumper on. I would just paint it black try to hide it a bit more. RE: supersleeper - zach@speedware - 11.02.2011 01.34 PM Long as you can't see that front mount call it a sleeper all day, black paint is definitely the key to that. Either that or do some sort of oem looking mesh grill and paint that black to hide it even better. RE: supersleeper - 05SRT - 11.02.2011 01.36 PM Don't use standard Krylon though. I have had look with the Rustoleum High Heat Black grill paint. Engine enamel is to thick and will clog the fins. RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.02.2011 02.29 PM yea. i will paint the intercooler after i work out a few other issues with the piping. thanks for the tips. RE: supersleeper - 05SRT - 11.02.2011 02.44 PM BTW, that was i have had luck with the rustoleum. It has a picture of a grill on it. Works fantastic. RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.02.2011 06.50 PM good deal, already bought i'll be spraying it in the morning RE: supersleeper - DÌEGØ - 11.04.2011 09.04 PM (11.02.2011 11.25 AM)b14yurei Wrote:I'm sorry but that charge-pipe routing is very ghetto RE: supersleeper - b14yurei - 11.05.2011 05.08 PM ghetto is what i do best, however, that picture was before i cut the pipes and now it fits great, they will be welded at a later date. if you have advice and you want to help please continue to share your thoughts. otherwise, negativity is not needed. |
