And I agree about that stretch its a 225 on a 10.5 wheel. Lol

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - camgoesfast - 07.17.2011 12.50 AM

And if I did shoot at 1100iso in that light those pictures would be grainy as all hell. I ust to really enjoy NWbuilt but it seems like all I'm getting lately is hate. About to take my sticker off and cut my losses

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - topsey_kretts - 07.17.2011 03.41 AM

eh.. dont let it get to you, cam. they are really good pics, and i am super jealous that you got to shoot a feature where your photos will be seen by a lot of people. i have a hard time getting 4 people to look at my pics.

just push back the negativity. thats just them being jealous too..

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - camgoesfast - 07.17.2011 10.44 AM

Yeah I hear ya and if your ever doing a photoshoot forr a car that's. "Stanced" contact elvis and send him a sample picture and see if he will feature the shoot. This shoot was for varrstoen wheel feature but elvis got word of the shoot and contacted me. I was extreamly happy for the chance to shoot for stance nation and he gave me the ok after that to do shoots for them up here in the NW.

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - 05SRT - 07.17.2011 11.47 AM

I was trying to give you some helpful advice. You took it as hate. And i got that info from the exif data on the picture, care to pull up the exif, screen shot and prove me wrong? And i didn't rehost your picture, i just wanted to see if it can be done. And i wasn't trying to call you a noob. But if you can't take constructive crit. you are in the wrong business. I was trying to help you improve your photography. And they pictures you posted are in fact small. I didn't make a single thing up. When i get home ill screen shot your exif data on my computer to show where i got the info. Stop crying, take some crit and move on with your life.

Edit: And i gave you a huge compliment on your composition. Which is worth more than final edits or lack of equipment. Next time ill just give you a thumbs up and you can not try to improve. It was just an opinion and i stated it. Also, most said nothing about your photography or anything good about the shots. More "cool car"

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - camgoesfast - 07.17.2011 01.42 PM

want to check my camera??? lol i took your compliment and thank you but idk what you were looking at but i shot at 100 iso. i never go up in iso unless im shooting in a really dark area. and yeah i can bring up that screen if you would like. But for my lack of gear... i quit my job and started taking classes in photography and focused these last few months on only that. the cost of that alone is the reason i dont have any gear. But its whatever its only up from here.

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - 05SRT - 07.17.2011 01.50 PM

Im just telling you what the exif data read on the picture i looked at. And gear has nothing to do with the quality of shots. Its more about whats behind the glass than the glass itself. I wasn't trying to upset you at all. I was merely stating my opinion. Its a forum, where opinions come together.

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - camgoesfast - 07.17.2011 02.05 PM

i can agree with that and its also how i want my pictures to be viewed. there is no specific way to take a picture every artist is different i took what you said to heart and if i had the proper gear i would have done that. im still building my camera gear but the way you came accross was kinda dick ish and im hard headed and i dont back down. my camera says 100 iso but the data on cs5 dosent make much sence at all saying its at 1250 on one and 700 on another. i have the Auto iso sencitivity turned off so im not sure whats up with that. sorry for caling you a lier but that not what the data on my camera says.

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - 05SRT - 07.17.2011 04.44 PM

Well i am a dick. I don't sugar coat things. But i was just telling you what the EXIF data says. Might want to look into it on the camera and make sure it isn't messing with you. And i actually came here to post along the same lines of what you already said. Photography is art, art is subjective to the viewer. I made suggestions, and you can take them or tell me to fuck off. Just giving you another viewpoint from a fellow automotive enthusiast.

Agreed.
Pictures look great though.

nice, congrats. he added some photoshop actions to those photos I can tell.

Just FYI, if you really want to get into photography, constructive criticism from others is extremely important to consider for yourself. They're only trying to help; it took me awhile to get that when I first started.

Also, feel free to send any features you have in mind for us at zacharytaiji@hotmail.com We'd love your contributions!

RE: my first Stance Nation Shoot!!!! - camgoesfast - 07.19.2011 01.20 AM

Im just wondering. He took everything so personal and gets mad at people making a critique. Acting how some would describe a younger person to behave.

And in what way was that question directed at you. If i wanted your answer to a question i would premise it with.....Topsey. I mean don't take it the wrong way.
