Support PGP Meet 2012

On Saturday May 26th, I, among others attended the Support PGP Meet hosted by the guys at Importmeet.comPGP Motorsports Park was one of the busiest tracks in Washington for amateur drifting and lapping days last summer and recently, due to a court ruling by King County, they’re now restricted to only four-stroke go karts. This pretty much made a lot of people upset. The whole issue about the Conditional Use Permit can be found here.

So, the whole goal of the meet was to bring out every make and model of car/bike (import and domestic) and show support to PGP. They have held many great events for us, so why not give back the support right? At the gate, there was a petition sheet that everyone could sign and from what I saw, the signatures were racking up.

The turnout of the meet was pretty good. Everyone was having a good time checking out the cars and driving around on the karts. NOS was there giving out cold drinks for everyone to enjoy and the Dj was doing work with the music. The day couldn’t have been better, the sun was shining and the atmosphere was perfect.

Everyone that came out showed support for their track and I think that PGP got the support that it deserved and needed. I would like to give props to NOS Energy Drink, StickerUp Vinyls and STAT Response for coming out and being a part of the meet! See you guys at the next one!
