Last Friday’s meet at Cozy Bubble Tea in Redmond was in my opinion a complete success! There was a great turn out of cars and plenty of people to talk to. I came around 7:30pm thinking that I wasn’t going to be able to find parking but luckily I found one right in front of the Cozy Bubble Tea place!
I was with a couple of my friends and we headed into Cozy. I ran into Zach and a couple of other friends as well. We started walking around and checking out all the clean cars as they were showing up.
I noticed a lot of BMW’s and Lancer Evolutions parked around the shop and I later found out that the owner of Cozy was the owner of a couple of the Evos. I was one of the “regulators” of the meet and there weren’t any problems except for a couple of cool people who decided to do some burnouts and rev their engines.
There were stickers being sold and if you didn’t get a chance to pick some up, you can get them here!
I saw some familiar cars and faces and made some new friends. There were a lot of NSX’s, the most I’ve seen at one place at a time, so that was pretty nice.
As the night went on, people came and people left. People were just hanging around talking to their friends and really, enjoying the meet. I left at about 11:00pm I believe, but still there was people hanging around.
I didn’t really get to try the bubble tea but I heard from various people that it was pretty good. Hopefully next time when I’m in the area, I’ll stop by and try their bubble tea and you guys should try it too if you didn’t get a chance to.
Well I’m out of here, watch out for the next meet-up!
